👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Simulation Engineer, you will be in charge of :


➡️ Integration of application(s), service(s) and system(s) into the simulation environment

  • Have an overview of the complex simulation environment
  • To know the interfaces and data flows in the simulation environment
  • To have the know-how to perform analysis in case of problems in the simulation
  • Plan and execute the integration of new applications, services and systems into the simulation o test the integrated applications, services and systems
  • Perform the validation of applications, services and systems for projects


➡️ 2nd and 3rd level support activities

  • Tracking incident in JIRA
  • Analysing incidents and taking all actions to resolve the incidents
  • Following up on incidents with maintenance and/or engineering groups o Reporting internally, externally and to customers


➡️ Coordinate and plan all activities related to the simulation specific application(s) and system(s)

  • Between people (maintenance, operations experts, software developers, supplier)
  • Implementation planning (develop a release plan, bundling various change requests)
  • Planning of the assigned work to the time-box principle
  • Interface with other affected applications and services
  • Preparation of changes to the technical documentation of applications and services


➡️ Role of single point of contact for bugs and change requests

  • Point of contact for new bugs and change requests
  • Analysis of impact/feasibility
  • Estimation of workload and cost
  • Planning of the implementation according given priority (SCRUM)


➡️ Regulatory

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Follow-up on audit non-conformities


➡️ Quality

  • Ensure applications and services meet the company’s quality standards and practices
  • Track development, requirements and testing activities to ensure quality is maintained
  • Review quality documents


Job requirements

🏅 Profile :


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the Java programming language (tools used: Eclipse, Git)
  • Knowledge of the programming language C# (tools used: Visual Studio, Git)
  • Additional knowledge of TIBCO and Puppet Framework
  • Has worked as an application developer and has experience
  • Willingness to help maintain, support and customize existing software
  • Knowledge of software testing concepts
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and virtual environments
  • Experience with AGILE methodology
  • Flexibility to learn new things and to work in application support and maintenance
