👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a SOC Engineer at Ivy Partners, your responsibilities will include:
• Defining a technological approach to the challenges of security operations;
• Developing, implementing, and supporting the security platforms and systems that support operations;
• Collaborating with the existing team to identify possible improvements in the systems and applying solutions;
• Conducting regular assessments of our systems to ensure proper integration and functionality;
• Contributing to the architecture definition of new security solutions;
• Keeping up with trends and technological developments relevant to the role;
• Recording and documenting the work performed.

🏅 About You!
• Higher Education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience;
• At least 1 year of experience in similar positions;
• High problem-solving ability;
• Scripting and Programming (Python or equivalent);
• Knowledge in the field of security and experience with SOC platforms;
• Implementation and management of security platforms (XDR/EDR, SIEM, and SOAR);
• Good knowledge of Linux Operating Systems;
• Analytical ability, critical and creative thinking;
• Responsibility, proactivity, autonomy, and dynamism;
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple activities;
• Ease in establishing trust relationships and effective communication;

Valued knowledge
• Databases and logging systems;
• Deep and low-level knowledge of operating systems (Windows and UNIX);
• Networks and security;
• Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or other CI/CD technologies;
• Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
