As a Business Continuity & Operational Resilience Specialist at Ivy Partners, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) campaigns to assess the potential impact of disruptions on critical business functions and identify recovery priorities.
- Developing, maintaining, and regularly updating Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), ensuring procedures and resources are clearly defined to support the continuity or restoration of critical activities.
- Supporting the testing and validation of Business Continuity Plans and recovery solutions, identifying gaps and contributing to remediation plans.
- Supporting crisis management activities, including the development and maintenance of procedures, contact directories, guidelines, and other relevant documentation.
- Designing and delivering awareness and training initiatives on business continuity and crisis management, covering scenarios such as physical loss, cybersecurity threats, and other disruptive events.
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to the Operational Resilience Framework, including strategic documents, recovery solution catalogues, reports, and remediation plans.
- Synthesising BIA results and resilience assessments into clear insights and presenting findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

About You
You are our ideal candidate if:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, Crisis Management, or a related field.
- Have strong knowledge of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and crisis management principles.
- Have experience developing, maintaining, testing, and validating Business Continuity Plans and supporting recovery solutions.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, identify gaps, and develop appropriate remediation actions.
- Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and communicating resilience and continuity topics clearly.
- Have strong attention to detail, a structured approach to documentation, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Are fluent in English. Professional proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is considered a plus.
