As a Power BI / Fabric Developer at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on UX/UI.
- Create and optimize data models (Star Schema, Snowflake, and complex relationships).
- Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations.
- Optimize the performance of datasets, models, and reports.
- Implement custom visuals through HTML/CSS in Power BI measures.
- Set up and manage static and dynamic Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Develop advanced navigation using bookmarks, tooltips, and page interactions.
- Publish and manage content in Power BI Service, including Workspaces, Apps, and Deployment Pipelines.
- Configure and monitor on-premises gateways and refresh processes.
- Manage permissions, access rights, and usage metrics of the platform.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Work with Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, and Data Pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop data transformations through Notebooks (PySpark/Python).
- Manage integrations with OneLake, Delta Tables, and external data sources.
- Produce technical and functional documentation of the models and solutions developed.
- Engage in requirements gathering with business areas.
- Conduct code reviews and promote best development practices.
- Mentor junior and intermediate team members.
- Manage versions and development cycles using Git integrated with Microsoft Fabric.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Microsoft Fabric practice.
 

About You You are our ideal candidate if:
- You have solid experience as a Power BI Developer in complex business environments.
- You possess advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- You excel in data modeling and advanced DAX development.
- You have a proven track record in optimizing the performance of models and reports.
- You have strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory, and Dataflows Gen2.
- You are skilled in PySpark/Python for data transformation.
- You have experience implementing data security models and governance.
- You can communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and business teams.
- You have experience in mentoring and supporting team development.
- You are oriented towards quality, documentation, and the adoption of best practices in data engineering and BI.

- You are confortable working in a hybrid model in Lisbon.
