As a Product Owner (Payments & Cards) at Ivy Partners, you will:

  • Own and manage the product backlog.

  • Translate business requirements from Product Managers into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery-ready backlog items.

  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, and QA teams to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.

  • Act as the functional reference for the squad, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product behavior and operational impact.

  • Support backlog prioritization and sprint planning to align delivery with product objectives.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment with business objectives

  • Ensure delivery readiness, including refinement, clarification of requirements, and removal of ambiguities.

  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technology teams.

  • Contribute to the design of scalable and pragmatic solutions together with engineers and architects.

Job requirements

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have an academic background in Economics, Management, Engineering, or a similar field.

  • You have proven experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or a similar role.

  • You have experience working with banking or financial services products, particularly with card management, payment processes, or digital banking.

  • You have solid experience working in Agile product delivery environments.

  • You possess a strong understanding of backlog governance, user stories, and delivery processes.

  • You can translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable backlog items.

  • You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • You are analytical and pay great attention to detail.
