👩💻🧑💻 As a Data Steward at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Ensure accurate documentation of data assets in the enterprise data catalog.
- Manage metadata processes including glossaries and lineage, ensuring data is properly used while being created, read, collected, reported, or updated.
- Maintain data lineage and oversee interactions and transformations within the data pipeline.
- Focus on understanding data flows and automate the updates of tools used for data tracking.
- Support the classification and tagging of sensitive data, maintaining its quality, and collaborate with business and IT to define data standards.
- Act as a contact point for data governance activities within your domain and work closely with various stakeholders to promote data literacy and governance practices.
Job requirements
🏅 About You
You are our ideal candidate if:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in data management, business analysis, or a related field.
- You possess a strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and metadata management.
- You are familiar with data governance tools.
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills and can work effectively across business and technical teams.
- You pay strong attention to detail and exhibit formidable problem-solving abilities.
- You are a critical thinker with a proactive learning attitude and a mindset focused on continual improvement.
- You have a basic understanding of JavaScript, Python, or similar languages for back-end scripting, and minimal knowledge of Git, its branches, GitHub, or GitLab.
- You are fluent in English.
