Java Software Engineer

As a Java Software Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will be responsible for:

Your missions

• Participate in the modernization and service decomposition of a critical legacy system.

• Design, develop and maintain high-availability back-end applications using Java and modern software engineering practices.

• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), including automated testing with Java and Cucumber.

• Analyse operational and user needs and translate them into software requirements and technical solutions.

• Produce and maintain system and software documentation, including requirements, design descriptions, test specifications and traceability artefacts.

• Take part in verification and validation activities, from test planning and execution to reporting, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

• Support certification, compliance and quality assurance activities required for Air Traffic Management systems.

• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, automation and software quality.
  

Your profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Aeronautics or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing complex software systems, ideally within regulated or safety-critical environments.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring and Maven.

• Experience with requirements engineering, verification & validation and software lifecycle documentation.

• Fluent English (written and spoken, C1 minimum). French and/or German is a plus.
