As a SCADA Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will be tasked with:
Leading and managing the SCADA team to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality SCADA and GMS solutions that support asset dispatch activities and TGPNA trading.
Designing compliant and robust system architectures, ensuring top-tier operational performance and cybersecurity across all connected systems.
Overseeing the quality of deliverables from both internal teams and external suppliers.
Providing expert operational support and promoting continual improvement of tools, processes, and system capabilities.
Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and management regarding progress, risks, system performance, and operational priorities.
You are our ideal candidate if:
8+ years in energy (power generation, utilities, trading), with solid expertise in electricity trading and planning, including experience with ISO/RTO environments (ERCOT is a plus).
Proven experience in managing and optimizing energy assets (gas CCGT plants, batteries, renewables), including planning, dispatch, and coordination with network operators.
Strong knowledge of AGC/SCADA systems (Monarch, Hitachi, GE, PI) and communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 104, DNP3, ICCP), including asset integration processes.
Solid understanding of networking and secure connectivity, with strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SCADA and asset management systems.
Experience in leading and coaching engineering teams, with excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of GMS regulations and best practices.
Degree in business, technology, or engineering.
Certifications (ITIL, PMI, Agile, cloud, databases) are a plus.
Fluent in English (French is a plus).
