👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Vulnerability Analyst at Ivy Partners, your tasks will include:
- Maintain an updated strategy for the vulnerability management process ensuring a clear view of risks and the effectiveness of mitigations;
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security weaknesses;
- Analyze and interpret the results of vulnerability scans or pentest reports to determine the severity and potential impact of identified vulnerabilities;
- Validate whether the vulnerabilities are effectively exploitable, always proving where necessary through exploitation of the same, even if this requires creating code or mechanisms for such;
- Prioritize vulnerabilities based on their severity and potential impact on operations, assets, and organization information;
- Ensure that there are remediation plans in place with the involved areas to address identified vulnerabilities;
- Clarify teams involved in the process to ensure timely and effective resolution of vulnerabilities;
- Stay updated with the latest security threats and trends;
- Document vulnerabilities and remediation activities to maintain an accurate, central, and comprehensive record of the organization’s security posture;
- Monitor and report the global vulnerability indicators for the organization.

Job requirements

🏅 About you!
- Higher academic education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, preferably in equivalent roles;
- Ability to exploit vulnerabilities;
- Risk identification and management skills;
- Ability to implement new processes and alignment among various teams;
- Communication skills and interpersonal relationships;
- High degree of autonomy, responsibility, proactivity, and dynamism;
- Critical and result-oriented thinking;
- Leadership skills and teamwork ability;


Valued Knowledge:
- Experience in vulnerability management platforms;
- Scripting and Programming (Python or equivalent);
- Deep, low-level knowledge of operating systems (Windows and UNIX);
- Experience in dashboarding, tracking, and reporting KPIs of activity.
