As an Application Engineer for our CPDLC solution at Ivy Partners, you will play a key role in managing and integrating CPDLC (Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications) solutions.

Your mission:

▪ You write, review and update the Equipment Requirements in alignment with the Product Owner.

▪ You write automatic test scripts for test automation environment.

▪ You execute manual and automatic tests in integrated validation environment as part of sprint work during the Build phase or as part of the SAT during acceptance phase and report test results.

▪ You analyze and describe issues/bugs in the issues Database, and you participate in their classification.

▪ You collaborate with the systems end users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.

▪ You act as point of contact to clarify identified defects or related Equipment Requirements.

🏅 About you!

▪ You have at least 5 years of experience with the principles of communication between air traffic controllers and pilots via datalink/CPDLC/ADSC (Automatic Dependent Surveillance contract) and have a deep understanding of these systems.

▪ You have a proven experience in the writing of software specifications and experience in the software testing in air traffic control/safety critical domain.

▪ You have a high analytical capacity, and you can understand the end user needs and transcript them to requirements for the Development Team.

▪ You have a proven experience with test automation tools.

▪ Proven technical experience with the following tools and environments is a plus: Linux, Tcl/Tk, PHP

▪ Knowledge of standards such as ED153/ED109 or ED12B/C are major advantages for this position.

▪ You are organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively.

▪ You are rigorous, and you have a taste for challenge to work in a dynamic environment with a good team spirit.

▪ Fluent written and spoken French and English is required, German is a plus.
