👩 🧑 As an Aviation Software Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will be in charge of :
You are responsible for creating and maintaining the Software Requirements Specification as well as the corresponding test cases.
You conduct reviews and validations based on the Software Requirements Specification and ensure test traceability.
You develop automated test scripts for the test automation environment using C++, Squish, and Python.
You execute both manual and automated tests, documenting and reporting the results.
You investigate and document issues or bugs in the issue tracking system (JIRA).
You regularly update and synchronize data within the Test Results Management tool.
You carry out formal system testing, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
You analyze defects and incidents to identify root causes.
You may also participate in software development activities.
Job requirements
🏅 Profile :
You ideally have 5 years of experience in computing, preferably within the air traffic control domain or in other environments with real-time and high-security requirements.
You are hands-on, with demonstrated experience in writing software requirement specifications and conducting software testing.
You have solid experience with test automation tools; familiarity with Squish and Jenkins is a significant asset.
You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to understand end-user needs and translate them into software requirements for the development team or into comprehensive test cases.
Experience with C++ or Python development is a plus.
Knowledge of standards such as ED-153/ED-109 or ED-12B/C is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is appreciated.
You are well-organized, capable of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing time efficiently.
You are rigorous, motivated by challenges, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a strong team spirit.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
