👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As an Observability Architect at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions across systems and applications, integrating monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting into the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure full lifecycle integration of observability frameworks.
- Lead a "Community of Practice" focused on the operability and observability of applications.
- Automate monitoring deployment together with DevOps and Platform Support teams.
- Develop, enforce, and maintain observability standards, best practices, documentation, and guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend observability technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze system performance data, identify trends and anomalies, and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in observability technologies and practices, providing leadership and insights.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance on observability tools and practices to team members.

Job requirements

🏅 About You
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- Proven experience as an Observability Architect, with a solid understanding of observability methodologies and tools.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent-Bit, ELK stack, and tracing frameworks like OpenTelemetry.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Bash for automation purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of system and application architectures, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud computing environments.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.
- Awareness of security practices relevant to observability, focusing on data privacy and access control.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating across diverse teams.
