As a Senior Backend Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs to power AI-driven features
- Engage with cloud-based architectures and distributed systems
- Implement reliable, scalable, and secure data and service integrations
- Work collaboratively with AI/ML teams to facilitate model integration and inference workflows
- Utilize SQL and relational databases for data persistence and analytical needs
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and ensure architectural alignment
- Enhance service observability, optimize performance, and maintain operational stability
- Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes

About You
You are our ideal candidate if you:
- Have over 5 years of professional software development experience
- Possess strong backend development skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, C#, Kotlin
- Are experienced with SQL and relational databases
- Have built APIs and backend services in production environments
- Understand distributed systems and service-based architectures
- Are familiar with full-stack development with a clear backend emphasis
- Show curiosity and interest in AI/ML concepts and systems
- Have experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Have worked in AI-enabled or data-intensive systems
- Are familiar with event-driven architectures or messaging systems
- Have exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in the automotive, embedded, or platform environments is a plus
