👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Senior DBA with PostgreSQL and SQL Server at Ivy Partners, your responsibilities will include:

We’re looking for a Database Administrator with 5+ years of experience in supporting mission-critical environments on the following technologies:

• Mandatory:
• PostgreSQL/EDB
• MS SQL Server
• Preferred:
• AWS RDS
• AWS Redshift
• Optional:
• Oracle
• MySQL & MySQL cluster

The successful candidate needs to have a good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows OS and must be available to work in a team, in a hybrid mode, and be on call (approximately one week per month).

Upper intermediate level (B2) of written and spoken English is a must.

• PSQL
• TSQL
• SQL
• PL/SQL
• Shell scripting
• Perl
• Powershell
• Python

The ideal candidate has:

• Master degree in Information Technology / Maths / Physics / Statistics / Engineering or equivalent working experience.
• Strong persuading and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to liaise with different levels of staff within the organization.
• Good team player.
• Must be motivated to progress in the role.
• Self-starter with the ability to plan and manage work according to deadlines.
• Pragmatic approach.
• Willingness to share experience/knowledge.
