As a Lead AI Engineer (LLMs & Data Pipelines) at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Drive the design, integration, and operational excellence of LLM-powered features across our platforms.
- Build advanced capabilities such as classification, extraction, summarization, and action orchestration driven by large language models.
- Develop embedding and retrieval pipelines (RAG, semantic search), and robust data pipelines for training and evaluation.
- Work hands-on with inference runtimes such as ONNX Runtime and TensorFlow Lite, optimizing the performance across various hardware environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and MLOps teams to integrate models into real-world APIs and production systems.
- Continuously experiment with new prompts, architectures, and model choices to enhance model effectiveness and efficiency. 

About you
You are our ideal candidate if:
- You have substantial experience with LLMs and NLP systems.
- You possess strong Python skills and are familiar with machine learning frameworks.
- You have hands-on experience with embeddings and vector databases.
- You are experienced in building and maintaining production data pipelines.
- You understand evaluation metrics, quality gates, and regression detection methods well.
- You have worked with RAG architectures and have experience in model calibration and analyzing accuracy/latency trade-offs.
- You bring hands-on experience in deploying models on edge or embedded devices in constrained environments.
- MLOps or monitoring experience is a significant plus.
