As a NetSecOps Automation Specialist at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for network security operations within FortiGate and Check Point environments.
- Automate firewall configuration and policy management using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Jinja2.
- Manage and integrate REST APIs (FortiOS, Check Point SmartCenter) to streamline security workflows.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using Git-based version control.
- Support configuration management, compliance checks, and inventory automation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated deployment of network and security configurations.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

About You:
You are our ideal candidate if you:
- Have hands-on experience in a NetSecOps, Network Automation, or Infrastructure Automation role.
- Possess practical experience with FortiGate (FortiOS CLI, REST API) and/or Checkpoint (SmartCenter API, Cpshell).
- Are proficient in using Ansible and Jinja2 templating within network contexts.
- Have scripting skills in Python and Bash for network and security tasks.
- Are experienced in consuming REST APIs, handling JSON/XML data, and managing authentication methods.
- Are familiar with Git-based version control in an infrastructure setting.
- Understand network automation concepts including configuration management, compliance checking, and inventory automation.
